Welcome to SpeedSlip, an integrated suite of vehicle related products and services including: SpeedSlip branded mobile applications (the “app”) and other associated vehicle related websites, applications, applets, widgets, software development kits, tools, calculators, content, social networking components, products, services, or select promotional offers made available by SpeedSlip, Ilc
To use the core functionality of the App, you must first complete the registration form at the App and agree to our Terms and Conditions. SpeedSlip respects your right to privacy and shares your concern about the security of any data you may submit to SpeedSlip via SpeedSlip’s app and related services. Please read the following statement (the “Privacy Policy” or “Policy”) carefully to understand the guidelines SpeedSlip has established for protecting the information you provide to SpeedSlip during your visit to the App.

What types of personal information do we collect:
We collect information about you in a range of forms, including personal data. As used in this Policy, “personal data” or “personal information” means any information which, either alone or in combination with other information we hold about you, identifies you as an individual, including, for example, your name, postal address, email address and telephone number. There are several opportunities on the app for you to share personal information about yourself with SpeedSlip. We may also collect personal information that is necessary to fulfil SpeedSlip’s legitimate interests, which will be described to you at the time of collection. SpeedSlip will use this information for the purposes of which it was collected.
Information You Give Us.You can choose not to provide certain information or opt out of some automated collection of your information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of certain features or Services. By using our Services, you grant us permission to process your personal information in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Statement. Information you give us may include:
information about you such as your equipment and activities, your routes, your name, and your postal code and e-mail address;
information about you when you register to use our Services, connect your social media account or communicate with us, including your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, username, password and demographic information (such as your gender); personal data that may be contained in any video, comment or other submission you upload or post to the app; the personal data you provide when you report a problem with our app or when we provide you with customer support; and the personal data you provide when you correspond with us by phone, email or otherwise.
Information from Social Media Connections.You may choose to enable or log in to SpeedSlip via various social media or social networking services such as Facebook or Twitter (“Social Networking Services”). When you connect your Account to a social media account, we collect certain personal information that you have provided to that Social Networking Service. For example, when you log in with your Facebook credentials, we may collect personal information from your Facebook profile, such as your email address, profile picture, and friend list.
Information Automatically Collected. When you access or use the App, as a Registered Member or a non-registered user just browsing (any of these, a “SpeedSlip User”), we and third parties that provide certain functionality on our App, such as Facebook, Twitter, and ad networks, may engage, receive, collect, and store certain types of information through automatic data collection tools including cookies, pixel tags, Web beacons, embedded Web links, and other commonly used information gathering tools (“Automatic Data Collection Tools”). These Automatic Data Collection Tools collect certain information including, but not limited to, information such as your web requests, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform type, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and the order of those pages, cookies that may uniquely identify your browser, and elements employed in the Mobile Applications. SpeedSlip may use your IP address to identify you, to administer the App and to assist in diagnosing problems with SpeedSlip’s server. SpeedSlip also uses Google Analytics to track statistics and user behavior on the App.
Location Information:
We collect and process location information when you sign up for and use the Services. We only collect your device location in the background after you have pressed the “START” button to initiate tracking of a drive. We stop collecting device location after you have pressed the “STOP” button. We never track your device location in order to display marketing ads. In order to provide SpeedSlip core Services, it is necessary for us to track your device location while you use the SpeedSlip. If you would like to change the device location tracking, you may do so at any time by adjusting your device settings.
Connected Devices:
SpeedSlip collects information from devices such as with OBD II. Pairing with an OBD II device allows SpeedSlip to collect vehicle telematic data.
Event video, photography and results:
By participating in an event that uses the SpeedSlip website and apps for display of photography, video or results (“Images and Data”), you hereby grant SpeedSlip a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your image and likeness in the Images and Data uploaded through the SpeedSlip website and apps.
If you are an Event Director or acting on behalf of an Event Director and you upload any Images and Data, you hereby grant SpeedSlip a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use the Images and Data on the SpeedSlip website and apps.
License:
SpeedSlip hereby grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable right to access and use the SpeedSlip website and apps and Services solely for the following purposes: (a) searching, registering or making donations for an event on the SpeedSlip website and apps, (b) accessing, claiming results, or otherwise using functionality in your SpeedSlip Account, or (c) setting up event registration, event landing pages, or using the SpeedSlip website and apps to promote, organize, operate, time, accept payment, donations, or using other functionality as an Event Director. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you shall not reproduce, modify, display, publicly perform, distribute or create derivative works of or circumvent any access controls to the SpeedSlip website and apps, for any purpose not specifically permitted herein. You represent that your use of the SpeedSlip website and apps complies and will continue to comply, with all applicable foreign, federal and state laws, rules and regulations. If you are an Event Director and collect information from a user facilitated through the SpeedSlip website and apps, you must provide a link to an applicable privacy policy that discloses your collection, use and storage practices, including any disclosure to any third party and such policy must comply with all applicable data privacy laws and regulations.
User contributions:
The SpeedSlip website and apps may contain message boards, chat or message capabilities, personal or event pages or profiles, forums, and other interactive features (collectively, "Services") that allow users to post, submit, publish, display or transmit to other users or other persons (hereinafter, "post") content or materials (collectively, "User Contributions") on or through the SpeedSlip website and apps. All User Contributions must comply with the Content Standards set out in these Terms of Use.
Any User Contributions you post to the site will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. By providing any User Contribution on the SpeedSlip website and apps, you grant us and our affiliates and service providers, and each of their respective licensees, successors and assigns the right to use, reproduce, modify, perform, display, distribute and otherwise disclose to third parties any such material for any purpose. You understand that by posting, any messages, text, files, images, video, photos, sounds, or other materials on or through the SpeedSlip website and apps ("User Contributions"), you are granting SpeedSlip, its subsidiaries, affiliates, assigns, agents, and licensees the irrevocable, perpetual, fully paid, non-exclusive worldwide right to use, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt, perform and prepare derivative works of the User Contributions.
You represent and warrant that:
●You own or control all rights in and to the User Contributions and have the right to grant the license granted above to us and our affiliates and service providers, and each of their respective licensees, successors and assigns.
●All of your User Contributions do and will comply with these Terms of Use.
You understand and acknowledge that you are responsible for any User Contributions you submit or contribute, and you, not SpeedSlip, have full responsibility for such content, including its legality, reliability, accuracy and appropriateness. We are not responsible, or liable to any third party, for the content or accuracy of any User Contributions posted by you or any other user of the SpeedSlip website and apps.
Privacy Policy updates :
SpeedSlip reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Please review it occasionally. If Speedslip makes modifications to this Privacy Policy, the updated Privacy Policy will be posted on the Services in a timely manner. If we make any material changes, we will provide a prominent notice. If you object to any of the modifications to this Privacy Policy, you should stop using the Services and delete your account.
